It was wonderful to see horses in the NEW stabling in our beautiful new barn. This year's horse show offered new hospitality and events and we received a lot of great feedback.  We appreciate all of our staff, volunteers, exhibitors, owners, riders, families and fans. The fair was up on horses and entries, ran smoothly from timing to watering and ring drags, logistics, and scheduling and was a success. 2024 marks the last year and retirement of our long time horse show manager Evelyn "Bunny" Elms and we thank her for her dedication to the horse show over the decades in ways too numerous to mention! 

 Work on the 2025  show begins the day after Labor Day!

The Lancaster Fair Horse Show is excited to welcome Ricky Drew from Raymond, Maine as our new Horse Show Manager!

This is a year round job and it starts now. Ricky is a familiar face (and voice!) to many exhibitors and spectators alike, having served as the announcer for the Lancaster Fair Horse Show. Known for his distinctive voice and positive, professional approach, Ricky brings warmth and enthusiasm to the show ring. With extensive experience as a successful Horse Show Manager for a large and popular multi-breed show series in Maine and a background working with horse shows throughout New England, Ricky is well-prepared to take on this new role. Ricky understands the legacy of our show and is committed to its growth and future.

Ricky will be working closely with Sharon Ellingwood White, the Lancaster Fair Director for the Class A Horse Show. Sharon (lancasterfairhorseshow@gmail.com)  brings a vast experience of professional experience teaching children and amateurs, is a licensed horse show judge and has many years of experience representing professionals and exhibitors alike at shows such as: UPHA Chapter 14 Spring Premiere Horse Show, the ASHA of CT Summer Classic Horse Show, The Devon Horse Show and Eastern States Exposition Horse Show committees. Together this team has exciting plans in store.
