- Exhibitor’s Tickets must be presented to enter. Two Free Exhibitor’s Tickets per herd if entries in by Aug. 20th.
- Herds consist of six or more animals, to be exhibited and present at the fair. If entries are made after Aug. 10th, one exhibitor’s ticket costing $20.00 must be purchased and no free tickets will be issued.

General rules and regulations governing all entries on livestock – The Lancaster Fair requires that all animals be vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days prior to fair. A valid certificate must be available for review.
- All registration papers will be checked for identity and ages before
- Each exhibitor must bring to the ring, for identification purposes, registration papers on all animals to be shown.
- No animal may be shown out of its age class.
- All animals must be owned and transferred to exhibitor not less than 30 days prior to show date.
- Animals registered in the name of one or more members of the same family may be entered in either the name of the individual owner or the farm name. If entered by the individual owners, those individuals will be considered as “exhibitors” in both single and group classes. If entered in the farm name the farm will be considered as the exhibitor in both single and group classes. All registration papers will be checked for identity and ages before showing.
- If an individual chooses to show as an individual exhibitor none of his animals may be entered under the farm name. For entries made under the farm name,one entry blank will be used with the owner(s) of each animal being indicated.
- Premiums will be limited to two entries per exhibitor in single classes and one entry per exhibitor inall group classes except Get of Sireand Produce of Dam. Exceptions to be approved by director in charge.
- Rule 6, 7, and 8 will be applied on a “per breed” basis.
- Exhibitors may not combine entries for Get of Sire or Produce of Dam classes.
- Any animal shown in a group class must first be entered and shown in its respective single class.
- All entries must meet health requirements as prescribed by the State Department of Agriculture. The Lancaster Fair requires all animals to be in good health, have received necessary tests, must not be known or show to be infected with any infectious or contagious
- Dual purpose breeds may only be shown in one show.

- Spring Heifer Calf – March 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021.
- Winter Heifer Calf – December 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021.

- Summer Yearling Heifer – June 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020.

- Produce of Dam – Two females, any age, the produce of one cow. Dam & Daughter any age to have already been shown in age
- Get of Sire – Three females, any age, the get of one sire. Each exhibitor limited to one entry sired by the same bull. Animals must be from one farm.
- Best Three Females – Three females, any age, bred and owned by exhibitor. Each exhibitor limited to one entry.

- Adult Open Dairy Fitting & Showmanship Class—Adults 18 yrs. and older as of Dec. 31, 2020. All Dairy Breeds competing. Animals must have been shown in a previous class. Must be owned, fitted and shown by owner. No bulls allowed. Exhibitors are required to be clean and neatly dressed.

- Cow and Calf – calf to have calved after January 1, 2021.
- Junior Yearling Steer – all breeds between 12 and 24 months of age and are “Ready for Market”.
Classes 16-21
