Exhibitor’s Ticket must be presented to enter.
One free exhibitor’s ticket per yoke if entries in by July 31 (up to three yokes).
If entries made after July 31, one exhibitor’s ticket costing $20.00 must be purchased and no free tickets will be issued.

Section 7.

  1. Trophy for Best Teamster of Lancaster Fair. $100.00 one prize only.
  2. Most Improved Youth—$50.00 one prize only. Must be 17 yrs. or younger

GENERAL RULES

  • The goad stick or driving whip shall be used as a driving tool only. Oxen shall not be whipped or beaten in any manner whatsoever.
  • The Judge and/or Director reserves the right:
    • To open or close any class at any time.
    • To accept or reject any entry.
    • To make the final decision on matters not covered herein.
    • To disqualify animals and/or personnel for violations of the rules of this show, or if the condition of the animal warrants it.
  • Medicating animals to increase their ability is against the law in New Hampshire.
  • Spectators consider the awarding of ribbons as part of the contest. Any team not coming forward to receive its ribbon shall be subject to withholding of premiums.
  • No collections or solicitations shall be made at the contests other than those which are functions of the Fair.
  • Weighing: one weighing only per team, sections 1, 2, 3: 10:00a.m. Final class assignment will be made after weighing is completed.
  • Out-of-state cattle must have evidence from their state veterinarian of a negative TB test within one year, and a permit from the Division of Animal Industry, State House Annex, Concord, New Hampshire 03301.
  • Entering Cattle in these contests is your commitment to accept and abide by the above rules.
  • All contestants will be expected to sign a release of responsibility and provide a certificate of liability insurance a in minimum amount of $100,000.
