STALL SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL BE GIVEN ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

STALLS MUST BE CLEAN BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE GROUNDS AND PREMIUMS CAN BE PAID.

All exhibitors with entries received before August 20th will receive two (2) passes per horse entered, with a maximum of six (6) passes, upon entrance to the Fair Grounds with their animals.

All entries received after August 20th will have to pay admission to the fairgrounds with no reimbursements given. All exhibitors must enter through the Green Gate on Stockwell Road.

All Exhibitors must send in with their entries a Certificate of Insurance of $300,000 and must be in the hands of the secretary BEFORE premiums are paid.

Ambulance, Food, and Water are available on grounds.

Sawdust bedding is available on the grounds. Hay may be purchased on the grounds.

Management reserves the right to cancel, combine, or divide classes as entries warrant.

Premium money will be mailed within two weeks after the show.

By New Hampshire State Law, all out of state horses, except nursing foals, must have a Negative Coggins Test that is less than six months old. ALL HORSES ENTERING THE FAIRGROUNDS MUST HAVE A CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION. PLEASE HAVE COGGINS PAPERS AND RABIES CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION AT THE GATE

DIVISION AND PREMIUMS

HALTER DIVISION
To be judged 60% on conformation and breed type; 40% on way-of-going, disposition and manners. Weanling and Yearling classes to be judged 70% on conformation and breed type; and 30% on way-of-going, disposition and manners. Six ribbons will be offered in all classes except Championships. Classes may be divided by age, breed, or sex as entries warrant.

YOUTH DECORATING & SHOWMANSHIP

Exhibitor shall not have reached his/her eighteenth birthday by January 1, 2024. Animals may be shown in halter or bridle. No Stallions.

PeeWee – ages 7 & Under (Adult required) -Ribbons only
Juniors – ages 8-13
Seniors – ages 14-17

Class 1 Decorating
Youth will bring horse/pony to the ring with a handler to hold horse while being braided. Youth will demonstrate to the audience how to braid the mane and tail. There will be a time limit of 30 minutes.

Class 2 Showmanship
Youth will present their horse/pony to the judge. Will be judged on the exhibitor’s ability to properly show their animal standing and in motion.

Open to all draft crosses, grades, spotted drafts, utility drafts/ponies of all ages. (NO PULLING SHOES) To be judged 60% on conformation and breed type; 40% on way-of-going, disposition and manners. Class of ponies and horses will be divided if entries warrant.

HARNESS DIVISION

All classes to be shown at a walk and trot both ways of the ring. Entries will be required to stand quietly in line and must back readily. Special work may be requested at the judge’s discretion. To be judged on performance, quality, manners and uniformity.

DRAFT HORSE HARNESS
Class 1A  NASHHCS Classic Cart Class – The North American Six-Horse Hitch Classic Series is offering the Classic Cart Series. Participants must have a membership number in the Classic Cart Series to enter this class. Any horse/driver from said member is eligible to compete and only one entry is allowed per member. Lancaster has added this class to their show and invites you to enter. There is a guaranteed $1,000 total payout for this class. ***NOTICE***

All Exhibitors housing their Horses/Ponies in the Draft Horse Barn or Pony Tent will provide a barrier behind their animals which must be maintained while the animal is in this area.

All Exhibitors must send in with their entries a Certificate of Insurance of $300,000 and must be in the hands of the secretary BEFORE premiums are paid.

The Draft Horse Barn will be closed to spectators from Noon until one hour after the last class on each day to give the exhibitors space to work with their horses. Each exhibit will have a representative available while the barn is open to the public.

Upon completion of the show ALL stalls must be cleaned before premiums are paid.
